Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient’s condition and develop a treatment plan.
• Instruct nursing staff and the patient’s families on follow-through programs.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff in follow-through programmes.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.

Phelps Health Outpatient Therapy Services is a full‑service rehabilitation centre for paediatric patients, adolescents and adults, including physical, occupational and speech therapy. We serve Rolla, Waynesville and the surrounding communities in south‑central Missouri.

Bioness – award‑winning medical devices designed to benefit people with stroke, multiple sclerosis (MS), traumatic brain injury (TBI), cerebral palsy and spinal cord injury. Our unit is a very fast‑paced yet fun environment with endless opportunities to learn and grow!

What you will do in this role

• Put your physical therapy skills to work where they’re really needed – evaluate a patient’s condition, develop a treatment plan and help them get better, day by day.
• Instruct the nursing staff and the patient’s families on follow‑through programs that build on the progress they’ve made.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff in follow‑through programmes.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
