Job summary

Phelps Health Hospital ARU Unit in Rolla, MO is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join Lifepoint Health's rehabilitation team. This full-time days shift offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a collaborative environment focused on patient-centered care.

You will evaluate patients, create and implement treatment plans, educate staff and families, document care, and uphold safety and regulatory standards while contributing to continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Accepting new grads.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them get better day by day.
• Instruct nursing staff and families on follow-through programs.
• Document patient care per regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping others and is a team player!

What will you do in this role:

• Put your physical therapy skills to work where they're really needed - evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them get better day by day. You'll also instruct the nursing staff and the patient's families on follow-through programs that build on the progress they've made
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws
• Other duties as assigned
