UPMC Rehabilitation Institute is seeking an occupational therapist to provide assessment and treatment in a specialty area, serving as a clinical resource and collaborating with academic partners as needed.
The role requires active state OT licensure, NBCOT certification, BLS/CPR per AHA, and an ACOTE-accredited degree, with opportunities to participate in research, education, and program supervision.
Provides occupational therapy assessment and treatment using advanced clinical skills in a specialty area of occupational therapy for patients referred to non-contracted and contracted facilities of the Rehabilitation Institute. Serves as a clinical resource for other staff members. May have an individual agreement with an academic institution for instructional services. Participates in research conducted within the Rehabilitation Institute.
Active license in practicing state required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
