Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join the therapy department at Autumn Lake at Norwalk in Norwalk, CT. You will evaluate residents and develop personalized plans of care to improve daily living skills and promote independence.

This full-time position offers hourly pay of $42–$46, plus medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), paid time off and holidays, continuing education support, and a collaborative rehab team focused on short- and long-term

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Connecticut OT license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop personalized occupational therapy plans of care.
• Provide interventions addressing activities of daily living, upper extremity function, coordination, balance, cognition, and safety.
• Help residents develop strategies for greater independence with everyday routines.
• Assess progress and adjust treatment approaches according to resident needs.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and provide resident and caregiver education.
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation.
• Coordinate resident care with PT, SLP, nursing, and the interdisciplinary team.

Ultimate Therapy is looking for a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the therapy department at Autumn Lake at Norwalk. You'll work with residents to improve functional abilities, increase independence, and build the skills needed to participate more successfully in daily life.

What You’ll Do
