Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in Meyersdale, PA. You will deliver customized therapy plans and work with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

The role requires an OT degree, current PA license, and CPR certification. You will float to acute care as needed and participate in comprehensive patient care and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a specialized treatment plan to help patients regain well-being through exercise and/or use of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the standards of the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws.
• This position will float to acute care depending on census/volume
• Other duties as assigned
