Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide personalized in-home therapy in Laconia, New Hampshire. This position allows flexibility and meaningful one-on-one patient care to improve quality of life.

The ideal candidate will be a licensed Occupational Therapist with a strong clinical background, preferably in home health, and must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role offers competitive pay, incentives, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in home health.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home occupational therapy services to patients.
• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and environmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Help patients improve daily living skills and mobility.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications for safety.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and exercises.
• Document patient progress and adjust care as needed.

Sign on bonus=$5,000 ($2,500 paid at 90 days and $2,500 paid at 6 months)

What You’ll Do

• Provide in-home occupational therapy services to patients and, when applicable, in assisted living settings
• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and environmental needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Help patients improve daily living skills, mobility, and overall independence
• Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications to enhance safety
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and long-term wellness strategies
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of New Hampshire
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (home health preferred)
• Current CPR certification
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
