Capitol Home Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for PRN home-based care in Central Texas. You will implement standards of care and coordinate with patients, families, and care teams to support independence and safe functioning in daily activities.

Texas OT license, OT degree (Baccalaureate or Master’s), CPR certification, and at least two years of clinical OT experience are required. Reliable transportation is required to travel to Temple-area patients.

• Graduate of an occupational therapy program with either a Baccalaureate or Master’s Degree accredited by the American Occupational Therapy
• Licensed Occupational Therapist with current and unencumbered license to practice in the state of employment.
• Two years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization.
• Access to reliable transportation.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for the implementation of standards of care for occupational therapy services. Any direct patient care provided will be performed as defined by the state Occupational Therapy Practice Act.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an occupational therapy program with either a Baccalaureate or Master's Degree accredited by the American Occupational Therapy
• Registered with the National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy
• Licensed Occupational Therapist with current and unencumbered license to practice in the state of employment.
• Two years of clinical experience as an occupational

• Possess and maintain valid CPR Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test.
