How you’ll contribute

• Assess patient’s ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills.
• Design the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
• Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities. Document subjective and objective findings of patient progress.
• Monitor and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
• Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programmes.
• Supervise and delegate the care provided by certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.

What we’re looking for

• Education: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Required)
• License: WA State Licensure for Occupational Therapy
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
• Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
