Job summary

Lifepoint Health® is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist in Pasco, Washington. In this full-time position, you will assess patients' abilities, design treatment plans, and effectively implement therapies to help patients improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy required.
• WA State Licensure for Occupational Therapy is mandatory.
• Must achieve Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s ability to safely perform occupational skills.
• Design the appropriate plan of care including treatment type and frequency.
• Implement treatment plans with appropriate modalities.
• Document findings of patient progress.

How You’ll Contribute

• Assess patient’s ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills.
• Design the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment.
• Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Document subjective and objective findings of patient progress.
• Monitor and modify the plan of care as needed.
• Seek consultation as necessary.
• Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
• Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
