Job summary

Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness in Houston, TX seeks an Occupational Therapist for full-time skilled nursing services. You will deliver therapy per plan of care, supervise COTAs and rehab techs, manage cases, and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations while building rapport with facilities and geriatric patients.

Must have OT licensure in Texas, experience in SNF or geriatric care, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Net Health Rehab.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Veterans Homes or healthcare as an OT Leader.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Net Health Rehab as the primary operating software.
• Valid Occupational Therapist state license (Texas).
• Experience in health care / hospitality or other related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy and related services for patients per plan of care.
• Supervise COTAs and Rehab Techs where required; case management responsibilities.
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The Job

Provide Occupational Therapy and related services for patients while maintaining positive levels of interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy and within community guidelines. Provide quality patient care including ongoing treatment per a plan of care, supervision of COTAs and Rehab Techs (where required) and case management responsibilities. Maintain professional conduct that represents the commitment to quality and service in all interactions with clients, including positive levels of interaction and rapport with facilities and clients. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding occupational therapy.

Must haves

• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/ Veterans Homes/ or healthcare as a OT Leader
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Proficiency in Net Health Rehab as the primary Operating Software.
