Job summary

Lake Manassas Health & Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, Virginia is seeking a caring Physical Therapist licensed in Virginia or eligible to obtain licensure. Join an experienced rehabilitation team delivering PT, OT, and speech services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym to help residents regain independence and return home.

The PT will evaluate residents, develop treatment plans, obtain physician approval, supervise assistants, and participate in discharge planning and documentation.

Qualifications

• Virginia Physical Therapy License or eligibility for licensure in Virginia.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop effective treatment plans.
• Obtain physician approval for services and treat residents per the plan.
• Participate in discharge planning and documentation of evaluation and charges.
• Supervise PTAs and aides; monitor progress and adjust care as needed.
• Screen residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.

Treats residents according to the physician’s treatment plan. Participates in discharge planning. Records evaluation, treatment, and charges. Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides. Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.

Requirements
