Job summary

Lake Manassas Health & Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, Virginia is seeking a caring, warm-hearted Physical Therapist who is licensed in Virginia or a graduate from an approved Physical Therapist program and actively working toward licensure. Join our experienced rehab team delivering PT, OT, and speech therapy in a state-of-the-art rehab gym to restore residents to home and community life.

The PT evaluates residents, creates treatment plans, and coordinates with physicians for services.

Qualifications

• Virginia Physical Therapy License required or graduate actively pursuing licensure
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops effective treatment plans.
• Obtains approval for services from the referring physician.
• Manages discharge planning and records evaluation, treatment, and charges.
• Supervises PT Assistants and Aides and screens residents for PT intervention.
