Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab in Florence, SC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. You will perform comprehensive OT evaluations based on MD orders and develop treatment plans with long- and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and modalities, while ensuring documentation accuracy.

Applicants must hold an OT degree recognized by the AOTA, NBCOT as an OTR (as required by state), and an active SC license.

Qualifications

• OT degree recognized by AOTA and licensed to practice in the state.
• Must hold NBCOT designation as an OTR (if required by state).
• Current license/registration in the state.

Responsibilities

• Occupational Therapist provides a comprehensive OT evaluation based on MD orders.
• Occupational Therapist provides a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• OT Ensures MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
• OT Provides comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.
• Occupational Therapist completes all other documentation requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, M.S., or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state-mandated)
• Occupational Therapist holds a current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable)
