Job summary

Tender Touch Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing team. You will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans with defined goals, and ensure all MD orders and documentation are properly managed.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, adherence to regulations, and ongoing professional development with supportive team resources.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program recognized by AOTA.
• NBCOT designation as OTR (if state-mandated).
• Active state license/registration where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations per MD orders.
• Develop treatment plans with goals, frequency, duration.
• Obtain MD orders for evaluations, treatments, recerts, and discharges.
• Provide therapy using modalities and adapt as needed.
• Complete all documentation requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Occupational Therapist provides a comprehensive OT evaluation based on MD orders.
• Occupational Therapist provides a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• OT Ensures MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
• OT Provides comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.
• Occupational Therapist completes all other documentation requirements.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, M.S., or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state-mandated)
• Occupational Therapist holds a current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable)
