Job summary

United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist (Independent Contractor) to join our residential services team. You will evaluate clients in residential programs and develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills and independence.

The role offers 2–5 hours per week with a flexible schedule, NY OT license required, and a competitive $60/hour rate. You will supervise OT Assistants and collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an AOTA-accredited OT program.
• Current New York State Occupational Therapy License.
• 1-3 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide occupational therapy services in residential programs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans focusing on ADL, sensorimotor rehab, and ROM.
• Supervise OT Assistants, students, and volunteers as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team.
