Job summary

Renewal Rehab is seeking an Occupational Therapist - PT in Detroit, MI. The role offers a compensation range of $72,500.00 - $90,000.00 per year and requires an active OT license.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and/or registered Occupational Therapist to apply.
• NBCOT-OTR certification (if required by state).
• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations based on physician orders.
• Timely and accurate documentation on standardized evaluation forms.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans with short- and long-term goals, frequency and duration.
• Obtain MD orders for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Administer treatments using modalities and adjust plans per patient needs and safety precautions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
• Document findings on the standardized evaluation form timely, accurately and adhering to all guidelines.
• Provide a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S.,MA, or M.S. or Doctorate in Occupational Therapythat the AOTA recognizes.
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)
• OT holds a current license and/or registration as an Occupational Therapist in-state as applicable.
