Job summary

Renewal Rehab is hiring an Occupational Therapist - PT to join our growing team in Michigan. Compensation ranges from $50.00 to $55.00 per hour, with a permanent job type and licensure requirements for application.

The role supports our 30+ years of care excellence and offers a collaborative environment, competitive pay, and ongoing clinical education. Responsibilities include conducting OT evaluations, documenting findings, and creating treatment plans with defined goals and modalities.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an OT degree recognized by AOTA.
• NBCOT designation as an OT practitioner (OTR).
• Current OT license or registration in-state as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
• Document findings on standardized evaluation forms timely and accurately.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans with long/short-term goals, frequency, duration, and modalities.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Deliver treatments using appropriate modalities and modify as indicated while following precautions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
• Document findings on the standardized evaluation form timely, accurately and adhering to all guidelines.
• Provide a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S.,MA, or M.S. or Doctorate in Occupational Therapythat the AOTA recognizes.
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)
• OT holds a current license and/or registration as an Occupational Therapist in-state as applicable.
