Job summary

Renewal Rehab is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing team in Michigan. The role offers a compensation range of $72,500 to $90,000 per year and requires current OT licensure and NBCOT certification where applicable.

You will perform comprehensive OT evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, document findings promptly, and collaborate with MDs to ensure orders are obtained for all services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., M.A., or M.S. or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA.
• NBCOT certification as an OTR (if state mandates)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation based on physician orders.
• Document findings on evaluation form timely and accurately.
• Develop a comprehensive treatment plan with long- and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and modalities.
• Obtain MD orders for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Deliver treatment using appropriate modalities and adjust as needed while following precautions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
• Document findings on the standardized evaluation form timely, accurately and adhering to all guidelines.
• Provide a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S.,MA, or M.S. or Doctorate in Occupational Therapythat the AOTA recognizes.
• Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated OTR (if state mandated)
• OT holds a current license and/or registration as an Occupational Therapist in-state as applicable.
