Providence Health & Services in California seeks a Staff Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, direct and administer medically prescribed occupational therapy programs within the hospital setting.
You will help patients regain maximum function after disease or injury, and may mentor staff and students while contributing to department performance improvement, infection control, and safety education initiatives.
Evaluates, plans, directs and administers medically prescribed occupational therapy programs in the hospital to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or loss of body part. Assists patient to reach his/her maximum performance and assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of his/her capacities. Performs administrative duties and participates in department performance improvement, infection control, and safety and education programs. The staff occupational therapist also assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of those patients being treated by occupational therapist assistants and may be assigned to orient staff and students and to assume the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in the absence of that individual.

Pay range: $48.79 – $75.74 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
