Job description

Sterling Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is a 164-bed subacute care and skilled nursing facility located in a tranquil setting in Media, PA. We take pride in providing the community with an array of post-acute services and specialized programs. We are looking for caring and compassionate Occupational Therapists to join our Rehabilitation Team!

Shift Type:

• Per Diem

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Based on findings from the initial evaluation, develop an individualized plan of care to facilitate optimal performance using standardized tests and measures as evidence for improvement.
• Identify the need for and make a referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient
• Provide supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with state license requirements and professional standards
• Perform other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have graduated from an Occupational Therapist curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), or its successor organizations.
• Must be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania
• Requires good organizational and time management skills
• Requires good verbal and written communication skills
