Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Sufficient strength, mobility, and stamina for physical demands.
• Strong visual and auditory abilities, with corrective aids if necessary.
• Effective communication skills to hear clearly and see appropriately.
• Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, and bending, with activity levels varying from occasional to continuous.

Responsibilities

• Supervising roles such as Occupational Therapy Assistant, aides, and students/observers.
• Assessing patient needs and creating individualized treatment programs.
• Performing physical activities including patient assistance, location changes, and physical support.
• Handling emergency situations and maintaining safety protocols.
• Adhering to safety standards, including wearing protective equipment, and managing exposure to infectious, chemical, or toxic substances.
• Physical activities involve frequent walking, standing, bending, and occasional climbing or kneeling.
• May work irregular hours and be exposed to infectious diseases and chemicals.
