Qualifications

• Degree from an Occupational Therapy Program is required.
• Current Occupational Therapy License as required by the state of practice.
• NBCOT certification required.
• BLS certification required within time frame specified in facility policy.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with patients and families, treating them with respect.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, families, and coworkers to ensure quality care.
• Assess and reassess patients across neonate to geriatric populations per policy.
• Supervise therapy assistants and support personnel.
• Plan and carry out individualized therapy programs to maintain or restore function.
• Plan discharge and provide information on adaptive equipment and support programs.
• Maintain documentation and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
