Job summary

Methodist Midlothian Medical Center is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide weekend coverage. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver professional OT services, including evaluation, treatment planning and ongoing reassessment for assigned patients.

The role requires graduation from an accredited OT program, and a valid Texas OT license (or temporary license) with at least 1 year of licensed practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Occupational Therapy.
• Current Texas Licensed Occupational Therapist or temporary license.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to assigned patients.
• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Implement therapy and re-assess progress; plan discharge.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Occupational Therapist PRN position renders professional and technical occupational therapy to assigned patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the Practice of Occupational Therapy Act/Rules process (evaluation, treatment planning and implementation, ongoing re-assessment and discharge planning).

Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Occupational Therapy

• Required Valid Texas License or Temporary License
• 1 year licensed Occupational Therapist
