Job summary

Freeman Health System in Arkansas seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist for Freeman Springdale Hospital to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, deliver care, and document progress for physician-referred cases.

The role requires a current Arkansas OT license; new grads considered with up to 2 years of experience. The therapist will supervise support staff and ensure standards compliance within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current Arkansas Occupational Therapy License.
• New grads accepted, Preferred 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, develop a treatment plan, deliver and document care, and planning discharge for physician-referred patients.
• Supervise and direct treatment and activity of support staff.
• Ensure compliance with ethics, standards of practice, state/national regulations, hospital standards, and department policies.

About Us - Rehab - Freeman Springdale Hospital

• Occupational therapists work with patients to improve their ability to perform tasks in living and working environments.
• Occupational therapists use their expertise and knowledge to help with both recovery and adaptation.
• Patients receive occupational therapy in a number of settings including acute care, home healthcare, pediatrics and work performance rehabilitation.

What You’ll Do

Independently evaluates patients, develops a treatment plan based on goal directed objectives, delivers / documents care, and provided D/C planning on all physician referred patients. Supervises and directs the treatment and activity of support staff. Performs tasks in compliance with the professional code of ethics, standards of practice, state / national regulations, hospital standards, and departmental policies /procedures.

Requirements

Current Arkansas Occupational Therapy License.

Preferred Requirements

New grads accepted, Preferred 2 years experience.
