Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care and support recovery in our inpatient setting. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapies, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and monitor progress to achieve meaningful functional outcomes.

Licensed in the state, CPR certified, and either a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s with substantial experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Occupational Therapist in the state
• CPR certification
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading assessments and creating personalized care plans.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients to understand physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Education

Master’s Degree preferred
