Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Maintains an active Occupational Therapist license in Florida (temporary permit acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathering data from patient, physician, and family as available.
• Develops treatment plans integrated with the continuum of care with specific goals.
• Treats patients across age groups based on department policies and patient needs.
• Assesses data reflecting patient status and identifies individual requirements.
• Operates and maintains equipment, ensuring safety and providing explanations.
• Re-evaluates plans when appropriate and documents care accordingly.
• Monitors patient benefit and communicates progress to the team.
• Ensures accurate billing and compliance with applicable state practice standards.
• Maintains punctual attendance and adheres to organizational policies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy

BLS certification
