Job summary

Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to support inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs for all ages, including stroke, spinal cord and brain injury cases. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved program in Occupational Therapy.
• Current BLS certification.
• Maintains current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Florida; temporary permit acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and gathers data from patients, physicians, and family.
• Develops treatment plans integrated with the care continuum with specific goals.
• Demonstrates competence in equipment use, safety, and patient education.
• Re-evaluates and modifies treatment plans and documents care as required by department policies.
• Ensures accurate billing and adheres to state practice act and standards.
• Maintains regular attendance in accordance with Orlando Health policies.
