Job summary

North Florida Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for PRN coverage in Jacksonville, FL. You will develop individualized treatment plans, work with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient recovery using exercises and assistive devices.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited OT degree, an active Florida license, and CPR certification, with strong organizational and communication skills to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state where services are rendered (Florida).
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a specialized treatment plan to help patients regain well-being through exercises and/or use of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; instruct patient\'s family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company\'s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws.
