HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking an Occupational Therapist to play a vital role in inpatient rehabilitation. You will evaluate patients, develop care plans, deliver hands-on therapy, and collaborate with physicians and a care team to support recovery.

You’ll educate patients and families, monitor progress, and ensure thorough documentation while mentoring therapy staff. The role requires Colorado OT licensure and BLS, with a Sunday-Thursday schedule in Lone Tree, CO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA-accredited OT program with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Maintains NBCOT certification and Colorado OT license.
• BLS for HealthCare Providers current.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating each patient’s functional abilities and needs with physicians and care team.
• Delivering skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitoring progress and updating plans with timely documentation.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Your role will include:

• Evaluating each patient’s functional abilities and needs, then developing individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and the care team.

• Delivering skilled, evidence-based interventions that promote healing, independence, and quality of life through purposeful, compassionate care.

• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting plans as needed, and ensuring thorough, timely documentation that reflects quality outcomes.

• Educating patients and families to build understanding, confidence, and engagement throughout recovery and beyond.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care, safe environments, and exceptional patient experiences.

• Leading by example- providing guidance to therapy assistants or students and upholding HCA Healthcare’s mission, values, and commitment to excellence.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited school with bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy

• Maintains current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy

• Maintains active Occupational Therapy Certification in the State of Colorado

• Maintains current certification in BLS for HealthCare Providers (in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines)

• Successful completion of student clinical rotation or work experience in at least one of the following settings: acute care hospital, long-term acute care facility, skilled nursing facility, and/or acute rehabilitation setting.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (OTR) Occupational Therapist Registered

• Bachelors Degree
