Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking an Occupational Therapist (PRN) for inpatient rehab in Colorado. You will evaluate functional abilities, create personalized therapy plans, and deliver hands‑on, evidence‑based interventions to improve independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited program with a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Colorado OT license and NBCOT certification required.
• BLS certification current per American Heart Association guidelines.
• Two years of experience in acute care hospital, LTAC, SNF, or acute rehab setting preferred.

• Evaluate each patient’s functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and care team.
• Deliver skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and update plans to reflect changes and outcomes.

Your role will include:

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited school with bachelors, masters or doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Maintains current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• Maintains active Occupational Therapy Certification in the State of Colorado
• Maintains current certification in BLS for HealthCare Providers (in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines)
• Successful completion of student clinical rotation or work experience in at least one of the following settings:
• acute care hospital, long-term acute care facility, skilled nursing facility, and/or acute rehabilitation setting.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
