Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to individuals and families in a collaborative setting. The role involves evaluating patients across all ages, documenting in a timely manner, and delivering patient-centered care aligned with cultural and language needs.

The position requires graduation from an accredited OT program and appropriate licensure, with pediatric or inpatient experience preferred depending on cost center.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy school.
• One to two years of clinical experience for specific cost centers (6367) or pediatric experience for 6368.
• Licensing as an Occupational Therapist and BLS HCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluation for all age groups within department scope.
• Completes documentation within specified timelines.
• Identifies patient needs and delivers care tailored to age, culture, language, and disabilities.
• Follows organizational competencies.
• Manages lifting and pushing/pulling requirements as stated.
