Job summary

South Dakota Developmental Center in Redfield, SD is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for a full-time position. The OT will focus on improving daily living skills, motor and sensory processing, and emotional regulation to enhance independence and community participation.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed with the South Dakota State Board as an Occupational Therapist.
• Must be or eligible to be registered as an Occupational Therapist through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Occupational Therapy to improve independence, social engagement, and quality of life by focusing on daily living skills, motor and sensory processing, and emotional regulation.
• OT will help with daily living activities, self-feeding concerns, adaptive equipment, and sensory challenges.
• Participates in interdisciplinary client review meetings to support individualized treatment plans.
