Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Wilmington, NC is hiring compassionate Occupational Therapists for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. We offer flexible full-time, part-time, or PRN positions to fit your schedule and a supportive team committed to resident-centered care.

As an OT, you will assess residents, develop treatment plans, coordinate with the care team, oversee COTA staff, ensure proper documentation and billing, and provide high-quality therapy consistent with regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Occupational Therapy license in practicing state(s)
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient
• Evaluate residents to inform and develop treatment plans; establish short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Oversee COTA as needed and ensure all documentation and treatments are carried out with clinical excellence and proper reimbursement practices are being followed

Education

Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active OT license in practicing state(s)

Ongoing continuing education and professional development
