Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Michigan.
• Initial NBCOT certification or eligibility for certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients using standard occupational therapy procedures.
• Plans and implements therapy programs to improve motor, cognitive and interpersonal skills.
• Documents evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Oversees assistants and directs group or individual therapy sessions.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop therapy goals.
