Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) within MUSC Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in our hospital system. You will develop treatment plans based on assessment and work under the supervision of the lead Therapist as a staff therapist.

Patients span from infancy to geriatric across neurologic, orthopedic, post-surgical and medically complex diagnoses in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

  • Education: degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • SC licensure and NBCOT certification required.
  • AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
  • New graduates or <1 year applicable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates and treats patients for Occupational Therapy needs.
  • Develops treatment plans based on assessment.
  • Under the supervision of the lead Therapist, functions as a staff therapist.
  • Serves patient populations from infant to geriatric across multiple diagnoses in hospital settings.
