UNC Health in Butner, NC is seeking an Occupational Therapist I to provide evidence-based evaluation, therapy interventions, and education to patients and caregivers with diverse diagnoses, enhancing client factors and occupational performance.

The role includes student shadowing and clinical instruction, participation in departmental education, and regular weekend coverage and holidays. Onsite, 40 hours per week with day scheduling.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited OT program.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire date.

Aufgaben

• Completes OT documentation, billing, and statistics per team guidelines. Manages daily caseload with efficiency and efficacy.
• Administers assessment tools to help establish a plan of care and communicates progress for continuity of care.
• Mentors assistive personnel and delegates responsibilities per licensing board guidelines.
• Provides clinical precepting and teaching for students and staff; offers feedback and evaluates learner performance.
• Assists in planning and coordinating clinical programs; participates in continuous improvement and meetings.
