Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Harris Regional Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The role involves working with adult and geriatric patients in a comprehensive medical rehabilitation program within an 86-bed facility part of Lifepoint Health.

You will assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions, coordinate with the care team, and contribute to patient safety and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Active NC Occupational Therapist License required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of patients with supervision as needed.
• Assesses patients’ needs and initiates appropriate occupational therapy interventions.
• Observes treatment progress and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Performs patient assessments and reassessments; manages QI scoring.
• Assesses pain and implements interventions to improve function and safety.
• Ensures safe delivery of care and supports a collaborative rehabilitation team.
