Essential Therapy Solutions, LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess, plan and implement individualized therapy for clients in homes and community settings. You will develop treatment plans, educate families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.

The role emphasizes staying current with OT research, maintaining thorough documentation, and advocating for clients across schools and workplaces while traveling to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Must pass a successful background check and obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required

Responsabilités

• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to determine areas of improvement
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
• Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to enhance patients’ daily living skills
• Educate patients and their families on coping strategies and assistive devices
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Advocate for patient needs in various settings such as schools or workplaces
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy
