Job summary
The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team.
The therapist will visit patients in outpatient home settings across Florida to diagnose and help individuals improve daily living and working skills. You will conduct assessments, create personalized plans, guide ADLs, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in patients' homes.
Qualifications
- Outpatient OT experience is required.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is expected.
- Expertise in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is needed.
- Proficiency in patient care is required.
- Experience in occupational health is preferred.
- Experience in clinic settings is beneficial.
- Experience with home health services is a plus.
- Exposure to acute care environments is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to determine needs and goals.
- Develop personalized treatment plans to improve daily living activities.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance motor skills and coordination.
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
