Job summary

Assisted Home Health & Hospice in Santa Barbara seeks an Occupational Therapist for Home Health. This per diem or full-time role focuses on evaluating patients, planning therapy, and supporting independence in daily living. You will collaborate with nurses and other therapists to deliver personalized care.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program, licensure, and at least one year of experience. We offer benefits, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for growth.

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist
• At least one year of experience in occupational therapy
• Experience in a variety of settings a plus

Responsibilities

• Team with nurses, physical therapists and other medical professionals in order to provide our patients with the best possible therapeutic care, with the goal of increasing their independence and their overall success in maximizing their everyday living and working skills
• Evaluate the level of function and initiate a plan of treatment for Occupational Therapy to assist with relieving pain, preventing disability, developing body skills, restoring function and maintaining maximum capabilities through the use of graded functional Occupational Therapy activities

Eval: $75 per visit + $11 for mileage

Routine: $75 per visit + $11 for mileage
