Role Description The Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy role is a full-time, on-site position based in Montclair, NJ. The individual in this role will evaluate and treat patients with upper extremity conditions, including hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques and customized treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, designing and progressing individualized rehabilitation programs, fabricating and adjusting custom splints, and documenting all care in accordance with professional and regulatory standards. The therapist will collaborate with referring providers and other members of the rehab team to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care. Additional responsibilities include educating patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention, participating in continuing education opportunities, and contributing to a positive, inclusive clinic environment.
