ARC Physical Therapy+ in Kansas City, Kansas is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver direct patient care focused on recovery and function.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree from CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Kansas license and CPR certification.
• Ability to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehab plans or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.
• Proficiency with EMR, databases, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to build personalized OT treatment plans.
• Review referrals and medical records to determine interventions.
• Deliver direct patient care with evidence-based OT protocols.
• Document progress, plans, and discharge summaries per standards.
• Develop measurable goals and holistic care plans with the team.

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at ARC Physical Therapy+ in Kansas City, Kansas. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to our patients, ensuring their recovery and well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and goals within the scope of occupational therapy practice.
• Evaluate physician referrals and thoroughly review patients' medical records to determine appropriate occupational therapy interventions based on the patient's condition, functional abilities, and treatment objectives.
• Deliver direct patient care using evidence-based interventions and established occupational therapy protocols, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes and patient safety.
• Document assessment findings, treatment progress, and instructions provided to patients and their caregivers accurately and comprehensively in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop written plans of care and establish measurable goals based on the initial evaluation findings, collaborating closely with patients and their interdisciplinary care team to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs, incorporating therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications to enhance patients' functional independence and quality of life.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and insurance providers, to coordinate care, address concerns, and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation, including progress notes, treatment summaries, discharge plans, and incident reports, to support continuity of care and facilitate reimbursement for services rendered.

Qualifications
