Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena on a full-time daytime schedule. New graduates are welcome and you’ll assess abilities, plan care and implement therapy.

You’ll document progress, educate patients and families, supervise assistants, and assist with discharge planning. Requires Master’s in Occupational Therapy, State licensure, and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current State Licensure for Occupational Therapy is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Aufgaben

• Assesses patient's ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills and designs the plan of care.
• Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Documents progress and modifies the plan of care as needed; seeks consultation when necessary.
• Educates patient and family/caregiver about deficits.
• Plans and assists with discharge from therapy and selection/use of adaptive equipment.
• Supervises and delegates care by assistants and technicians within licensing laws.
