Job summary

Avamere Riverpark of Eugene is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join as a PRN position. You will provide and direct all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation, treatment planning, family education, and documentation, per professional standards and community needs.

You will advocate for patients and collaborate with internal teams to ensure safe, effective therapy, while maintaining licensure and pursuing ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy curriculum.
• Licensed OT in the state this position is held.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and payer sources.
• Upholds residents’ rights and professional standards.
• Strong multitasking and professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients per licensure.
• Direct and supervise assistants and rehab staff per guidelines.
• Document evaluations, daily progress notes, and reports timely.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Collaborate with rehab team to optimize care.
• Engage in continuing education and program development.
