Job summary

Avamere Court at Keizer is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality rehab services on a PRN basis at 5210 River Rd North, Keizer, OR. The role includes evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation, while advocating for patients and coordinating with families and care teams.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, educating staff, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with guidelines and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy curriculum.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• Active CPR/BLS during employment.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and payer sources.
• Knowledge of residents’ rights.
• Exudes professionalism and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients per licensure.
• Direct and supervise assistants, rehab aides, and students as applicable.
• Follow safety procedures for patient and personal protection.
• Expand clinical and professional knowledge through continuing education.
• Support department operations and development.
• Communicate patient status to families and the care team.
