Job summary

Autumn Lake at Scotch Plains in Scotch Plains, NJ is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join its rehabilitation team. This full-time opportunity focuses on helping residents improve daily function, safety, and independence through individualized therapy.

Required: active New Jersey OT license and graduation from an accredited OT program; new graduates are welcome. Compensation ranges from $42–$47 per hour with full-time benefits including health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care.
• Provide skilled treatment focusing on activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, balance and functional performance.
• Establish meaningful goals and monitor resident progress.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and techniques to improve safety and independence.
• Modify treatment plans based on resident needs and response to therapy.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with COTAs, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals.
