Job summary

Haywood Regional Medical Center in Clyde, NC seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team on a full-time daytime schedule. You will work across inpatient and outpatient settings, applying evidence-based OT interventions to improve patient function and independence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in OT and an active NC OT license, with certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) pursued within set timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and NC Occupational Therapist license required.
• ACLS/PALS certs within six months of hire; BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and initiate appropriate occupational therapy interventions; collaborate with the team to maintain professional standards.
• Observe and evaluate treatment progress; perform assessments and necessary reassessments; document QoI scoring.
• Assess patient pain and implement interventions to improve function; ensure patient safety and minimize care errors.
• Perform all aspects of OT care in a safe environment; contribute to duties as needed.
