Job summary

Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, CA is seeking an occupational therapist to join a collaborative care team. The role plans and conducts treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, and serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary patient groups.

Qualifications include a master's or OTD in OT, an active state license, CPR/BLS certification, and preferred two years of OT experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) required if licensed after Jan 2007; foreign equivalent accepted.
• Two years' occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice required.
• CPR or BLS certification from approved vendor per AH policy required.
• Basic Life Support certification required per AH policy.

Responsibilities

• Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Establishes individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Develops care and discharge plans and ensures alignment with relevant parties.
• Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervises assigned assistants.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD): Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2007; or foreign equivalent.
• Two years' occupational therapy experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications
