Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, CA seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs to restore physical, social and mental functions, serving as co-leader in multidisciplinary patient groups.

Requires Master's or OTD, California OT license; CPR or BLS; 2 years' experience preferred. The role emphasizes evaluations, individualized plans, therapy interventions, and thorough clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD): Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2007; or foreign equivalent.
• Two years' occupational therapy experience: Preferred.
• Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
• CPR certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by AH policy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by AH policy

• Uses appropriate clinical techniques and tools and establishes individualized treatment plans for patients.

• Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.

JOB DESCRIPTION Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. Locals enjoy weekly farmers markets in downtown Templeton, farm-to-fork dining, beautiful landscapes for hiking and biking, and beach days just fifteen minutes away at Cambria and Morro Bay.

Job Summary

Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social and mental functions, while meeting department objectives. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups.

Job Requirements

• Education and Work Experience:
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD): Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2007; or foreign equivalent.
• Two years' occupational therapy experience: Preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
