Job summary

Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital in Bowling Green, KY, seeks an Occupational Therapist for a full-time role.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• BLS certification or completion within the first 90 days of employment is required.
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with patient needs and physician direction.
• Delegates and directs all therapy services for assigned patients, designing functional programs for return to community activities.
• Educates patients, families, students, co-workers and self.
• Performs other professional duties related to patient care and therapy program design.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8 hours; 2 weekend shifts per month requirement

Sign-on bonus: $15,000

Up to $109,179.20 per year based on experience

Responsibilities

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline‑specific therapy services for those assigned patients. Ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for an effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, co‑workers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline‑specific therapy services and design of program delivery.
